Abinader realizó 716 actividades durante 2023


Santo Domingo:- La Dirección de Ceremonial y Protocolo del Poder Ejecutivo, presentó este jueves un informe numérico de las actividades realizadas durante los tres años del mandatario de la República Dominicana, Luis Abinader.

Según el órgano ejecutivo, el primer mandatario nacional realizó, a lo largo de 2023, 716 actividades (entre inauguraciones y actos públicos, actos del sector privado, audiencias y ceremoniales) y 1,106 reuniones ordinarias dentro del Palacio Nacional. Asimismo, recorrió 41,173 kilómetros dentro de la República Dominicana.

En el 2023, el presidente Abinader realizó cantidades de actos por días de semana. 241 el lunes, 298 el martes, 277 el miércoles y jueves, mientras que el sábado 163, y el domingo 124 actividades. 

Discriminados por mes, Abinader realizó 148 reuniones en el mes de enero, 155 en febrero, y 137 en marzo. Siguió con 138 en abril, 141 en mayo, 159 en junio, 125 en julio, 168 en agosto y en los meses de septiembre, octubre, noviembre y diciembre un total de 481 asambleas ordinarias.

Regiones donde Abinader realizó mayor cantidad de actividades

En la agenda de actividades del Presidente Abinader, el Distrito Nacional lideró con un total de 22. Le sigue la provincia de Santiago, con un total de 72 actos.

Seguidamente, la provincia de Monte Cristi registró 29 actividades, en las cuales entregó infraestructuras para las elaboraciones de escuelas.

En tanto que la provincia La Altagracia contabilizó 22 actividades, siendo un punto clave en el Este, y San Pedro de Macorís alcanzó 20 actividades.

Por su parte, Azua y Barahona registraron 17 cada una, y San Cristóbal, Santiago Rodríguez y Monseñor Nouel, contabizaron 16 actividades cada una.

Ministro de Salud asume vicepresidencia del Consejo Nacional de la Seguridad Social


El ministro de Salud Pública, Victor Atallah, asumió su rol de vicepresidente del Consejo Nacional de la Seguridad Social en virtud a lo establecido en el artículo 23 de la ley 87-01 que rige el Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social.

El ministro, al tomar juramento expresó el compromiso de trabajar incansablemente por el fortalecimiento del sistema de seguridad social dominicano, el que considera una herramienta fundamental para la sostenibilidad que tienen los dominicanos de gozar de la adecuada protección durante el desempleo, la enfermedad, la incapacidad y la vejez.

“Dentro de mis funciones como ministro de salud pública, en el día de hoy fui juramentado vicepresidente del Consejo Nacional de la Seguridad Social tal como lo manda la ley 87-01 que crea el sistema dominicano de seguridad social y desde donde haré mis mejores esfuerzos por contribuir a la robustez del sistema” dijo el ministro de Salud y vicepresidente del CNSS.

El juramento estuvo a cargo de Luis Miguel de Camps, ministro de trabajo y presidente del Consejo Nacional de la Seguridad Social, y contó con la presencia del Gerente General del Consejo DR. Edward Guzmán, el presidente del Colegio Médico Waldo Ariel Suero, así como representantes de las diferentes entidades destinadas por la ley.

Yet strangely the place did not seem crowded. I’m not sure if it was the sheer size of the place, or whether the masses congregated in one area and didn’t venture far from the main church, but I didn’t feel overwhelmed by tourists in the monastery.

Headed over Lions Bridge and made our way to the Sofia Synagogue, then sheltered in the Central Market Hall until the recurrent (but short-lived) mid-afternoon rain passed.

Feeling refreshed after an espresso, we walked a short distance to the small but welcoming Banya Bashi Mosque, then descended into the ancient Serdica complex.

We were exhausted after a long day of travel, so we headed back to the hotel and crashed.

I had low expectations about Sofia as a city, but after the walking tour I absolutely loved the place. This was an easy city to navigate, and it was a beautiful city – despite its ugly, staunch and stolid communist-built surrounds. Sofia has a very average facade as you enter the city, but once you lose yourself in the old town area, everything changes.

Clothes can transform your mood and confidence. Fashion moves so quickly that, unless you have a strong point of view, you can lose integrity. I like to be real. I don’t like things to be staged or fussy. I think I’d go mad if I didn’t have a place to escape to. You have to stay true to your heritage, that’s what your brand is about.
