Bretón Martínez llama a preservar la vida y la familia

Santiago. Monseñor Freddy Bretón Martínez, exhortó a defender la vida y a encumbrar la institución familiar, ya que la raíz de la violencia está en el seno de los hogares que se forman sin acordarse de Dios.

Dijo que de un hogar bendecido podría salir “un hijo que tire para el monte” pero de una familia bendecida por Dios no puede salir un malhechor que a la sociedad, por lo que estimuló a los ciudadanos conscientes, a los funcionarios y a la iglesia trabajar a fondo para conservar la institución familiar, el regalo enorme que Dios la ha hecho.

Además expresó a los que batallan y luchan en detrimento de la familia, que hay muchas personas que valoran el tesoro que Dios les ha entregado.

“Queremos dar esa señal para que no quede duda de que valoramos el tesoro de Dios y que estamos dispuestos a defender la vida del ser humano, los que andamos caminando y los que todavía están en el seno materno, que sienta la población, el país entero que estamos dispuesto a defender al inocente cómo es la criatura que va en el vientre, no nos cansaremos de repetirlo”, expresó el arzobispo metropolitano de Santiago, durante la homilía, tras la caminata “Un paso por mi familia”, que salió desde el Estadio Cibao hasta el Parque Central.

Al referirse al tema del aborto dijo que Jesús era un candidato abortar ya que “José no sabía de quién era ese muchacho, él podría acudir a una de las causales para abortar esa criatura inocente y nos hubiésemos quedado sin redentor” y no hubiera venido al mundo Cristo.

También se refirió al tema de la corrupción y la violencia que actualmente vive el país, recordando que cuando llegó a Santiago siete años atrás en la toma de posesión dijo qué quería que Cristo reinará en el corazón de todas las personas, pero se cuestionó cómo va a reinar sí campea la corrupción y aumenta la violencia, temas que hoy día están más latente que nunca.

“En el tema de la corrupción que se ventila mayormente en la justicia y el tema de la violencia me quedé muy corto, ahora cuando mencionamos la violencia le duele a todo el mundo”, expresó, al tiempo de hablar del rol de la escuela en la formación, ya que y si no se siembran valores que enaltecen la condición humana, esos valores que hacen grande un país, qué se puede esperar.

También cuestionó el rol de los medios cuando se ven mujeres bailando en panti en las pantallas, ya que eso mismo aprenderán los niños en la casa, por lo que llamó a las autoridades atender el perjuicio que eso causa al país.

“A nosotros a veces nos dan chance de ser autoridad y quizás nos olvidamos de la gente que antes compartía con nosotros, eso se ha visto en el país, no digo que se dé ahora pero antes se hablaba por ahí de unas chancletas que las cambiaron por Jeepeta y luego no conocían a nadie”, expresó Breton Martínez, para luego recordarle a los servidores públicos que sean humildes y servidores de su pueblo.

La caminata y posterior eucaristía fue organizada por la Arquidiócesis de Santiago de los Caballeros y la Vicaría de Pastoral Familiar. Para finalizar, los esposos Juan e Idalia Cruz, coordinadores de la Comisión Arquidiocesana de Pastoral Familiar, leyeron el manifiesto de la familia.
